SENCo

At St Michael’s, we are seeking to appoint a SENCo in April for 2 days a week, but may be willing to wait until September 2021 for the right candidate.

We are looking for a SENCo who:

  • Has a passion for meeting the needs of all learners

  • Recognises children as individuals

  • Develop teachers' skill in inclusive practice

  • Leads a team of TAs and LSAs to drive progress

  • Contributes to whole school developments.

  • Commits to their own professional development

  • Has a positive attitude to their life, their work and their colleagues as well as the children and families they work with.

  • Is self-motivated, but collaborative, sharing and open, who look for solutions rather than problems
